Students in Ms. Walley’s 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Star Reach have been learning to identify physical and emotional signs of stress and healthy strategies to cope with stressful situations. These 4th graders are showing off their stress balls they created.

The back-to-school offer is good through September 20th and the yearbooks are $40 until that date.  After that, the price will increase to $45. Order forms have been sent home with students, NO TAX IS REQUIRED.  

After conducting an investigation to determine what causes our shadows to change throughout the day, these 5th-grade Star Reach students in Ms. Walley's class created foil figures with shadows. 

Students in Mrs. McMullan and Ms. Sumrall's classes have spent the past couple of weeks learning about fossils.  They have used multiple resources to discover how fossils form and how paleontologists are able to find them today.  After learning all about fossils, the students were given chocolate chip cookies and toothpicks to help dig out the fossils (the chocolate chips).

Mrs. McMullan's class used beach day to incorporate review math and ELA skills. The students had to work their problems out and then catch the beach ball for a chance to limbo.  We also celebrated with popsicles!
