Lori Hayes was awarded 2024-2025 EJE Teacher of the Year. Lori is married to Stephen Hayes and has three sons, Isaac, Michael, and Brayden. Mrs. Hayes has been teaching for 23 years with the majority of those years being a 4th Grade ELA teacher. She earned her Bachelor’s & Master’s degrees at William Carey University. “Teaching is a passion for me; I absolutely love inspiring my kids to be persistent in reaching high expectations. My goal is to always instill a love for learning in my kids by being enthusiastic about what we do in our classroom each and every day.”
